    Most individuals infected with E.coli will experience symptoms within two to seven days of exposure.

    Common E.coli symptoms include:

    • severe stomach cramps;
    • diarrhea (often bloody)
    • vomiting; and fever
    • possible dehydration

    In some cases, individuals infected with E.coli will have show no symptoms and run the risk of inadvertently spreading the bacteria to those around them.
