    • As much as 29% of the Canadian population experience substantial upper gastrointestinal symptoms, which significantly affects their ability to work, eat, and sleep.
    • 33% of all those with gastroparesis are idiopathic (meaning the disease occurs spontaneously and the cause is unknown).
