RISEUp for Digestive Health 2026

Join us for RISEUp, our annual cycling fundraiser in support of the Canadian Digestive Health Foundation (CDHF). This year, we are heading back to beautiful Prince Edward County to ride with County Gran Fondo, where you can experience an unforgettable journey with scenic routes and the chance to make a real impact. Enjoy the sandy beaches, picturesque vineyards, and a charming atmosphere, perfect for a short getaway or an extended stay!
Every pedal stroke and dollars raised fuels CDHF’s vital educational programs and patient-centered research led by the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG). In 2025, we raised $27,000 for the CDHF-CAG Patient Care Research Grant. This year, we hope to bring that total to $60,000 to provide operating support for novel, patient-focused research in gastroenterology.

Ride Fees:
- 150km – Elite Fondo Ride ($240)
- 100km – Gran Fondo ($220)
- 50km – Corto Fondo ($195)
- 30km – Slow Food Ride ($80)
- Raise $1,000 CAD and your registration fee will be waived for ride of choice

Event Schedule
Friday, September 4th:
6:30 pm – 8:00 pm: Package Pick-up at O’Neill Pavilion
Participants can pick up their package at Isaiah Tubbs Resort in the O’Neill Pavilion, our headquarters for the event.
Saturday, September 5th:
7:00 am – 8:15 am: Arrival and Package Pick-Up at O’Neill Pavilion
Package pick-up will be available for those who did not collect theirs on Friday evening.
All routes begin with a neutral start heading north along West Lake and through Sandbanks Provincial Park. Once through the park, riders may continue at their own pace.
7:30 am Start: 150km – Elite Fondo
8:00 am Start: 100km – Gran Fondo
8:30 am Start: 50km – Corto Fondo
Choose from 50km, 100km, or 150km routes and experience some of the best road cycling in Ontario. Starting from Isaiah Tubbs Resort on West Lake, riders cruise through Sandbanks Provincial Park, roll past vineyard-lined roads, visit the communities of Milford, Picton, and Wellington, and enjoy long stretches of peaceful countryside in between.
With exceptional rider support, well-marked routes, rest stops, and a lively post-ride celebration, the Gran Fondo is known for its welcoming atmosphere, strong sense of camaraderie, and unforgettable setting.
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm: End of Ride Celebration at Knoll’s Restaurant at Isaiah Tubbs Resort
Join the CDHF team, and your fellow cyclists for an after ride celebration with beverages, food, awards, and prizes to be won. This celebration is a big thank you for your participation and efforts on and off the bike this year.
Sunday, September 6th:
8:30 am – 12:00 pm: 30km Slow Food Ride – Start at Wellington’s Karlo Estates
A shorter, relaxed, and social cycling experience designed for families, friends, and foodies alike. This casual 30km ride that highlights some of the County’s best vineyards with curated stops for local food and wine tastings, offering a delicious way to explore Prince Edward County by bike.
